Jungwon, whose real name is Yang Jung-won, was born on February 9, 2004, in Seoul, South Korea. From a young age, he exhibited a natural flair for performance, which eventually led him to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. His journey began when he participated in the survival show *I-LAND*, a program designed to discover and nurture talented young performers. Despite the intense competition, Jungwon’s charisma, vocal abilities, and leadership qualities earned him a spot in the final lineup, ultimately leading to the formation of ENHYPEN.
ENHYPEN debuted on November 30, 2020, under BELIFT LAB, a joint venture between CJ ENM and Big Hit Entertainment (now HYBE). As the leader of the group, Jungwon has taken on significant responsibilities, guiding his fellow members through the challenges of the K-pop industry.
