It is no longer news that Enrica Cenzatti met her former husband at the age of 17. They moved in legally as husband and wife in June 1992. That was when Bocelli just graduated from law school. And just like every other marriage, the then happy couple had two children. They are Matteo and Amos Bocelli, born February 1995 and October 1997 respectively.
In what seemed like a tragedy, in 2012, the once very inspiring couple filed for a divorce. Reports have it that it was Enrica who took the initiative. The reason was not ascertained, but it may have been differences in their lifestyle. She is a chronic introvert, but Bocelli, being a musician, is unarguably a media person. The media think the reason for their separation is an irreconcilable difference.
