Where can I get a copy of my father’s DD214?
Re: My Father has passed away a few years back. Is it possible to get a copy of his DD214 from his active duty in WWII? Since he was in the US Navy, his record will be at the NPRC. The military files that were lost in a fire back in 1973 were US Army and some Army Air Corp.
