We will be closing Dough Nguyener’s Bakery, Huey P’s Pizzeria Gretna, and Thanh Thanh Restaurant on Tuesday July 11, 2023 to honor and celebrate the life of Gavin Le.
It has been a tough week for my family and I. Our hearts are shattered. Many questions will never be answered. All I know is that we lost a son, a grandson, a nephew, a cousin, a friend, and a rising team member. Gavin loved working at the bakery. It always put a smile on his face when he saw all the happy customers walk through the bakery doors. He loved serving and talking to each one of you. He was also very eager to learn all aspects of the bakery. He was always in our kitchen shadowing our staff trying to learn their baking and cooking techniques. It brought him so much joy learning something new everyday. Next time you visit the bakery, please come and enjoy it in his honor. He will be smiling down from heaven.
