How to Reactivate a Charcoal Filter
- Charcoal filters, also known as activated charcoal, are created when the pores of charcoal are activated with oxygen, thereby opening and creating an absorbent material.
- Remove the filter from the appliance and wash the filter either in the dishwasher or with warm water and a few drops of dish washing liquid.
- Turn on the oven to approximately 200 degrees Fahrenheit and allow the oven to preheat.
