Shinoda Yuu was born on June 27, 1988, in Kawasaki, Kanagawa, Japan. Growing up, he was exposed to various genres of music, which sparked his interest in pursuing a career in the music industry. His early exposure to rock and alternative music laid the foundation for his future success.
During his high school years, Shinoda began exploring his passion for music more seriously. It was during this time that he formed ONE OK ROCK with his childhood friend, Toru, and other band members. Their initial performances were modest, but their passion and determination quickly gained them attention in the local music scene.
