Use baking soda and vinegar to clean your stove.
  1. Remove any accessories such as stove rings.

  2. Use a small towel or cloth to remove debris from the stove surface.

  3. Mix baking soda and water in a bowl to create a paste. The ratio between baking soda and water is one to one.

  4. Dip a cotton cloth into the baking soda paste. Apply the solution across the stove's surface and rub with a circular motion. Add paste to difficult stains such as oil spills and scrub.

  5. Pour vinegar into a spray bottle and spray the stove surface, especially any remaining oil spills. Vinegar neutralizes the baking soda, turning it to liquid.

  6. Wipe up the baking soda and vinegar with a cotton rag. If the rag becomes saturated with baking soda and vinegar, rinse and wring it out. Continue wiping the stove until the oil spill is gone.
