Richard Madden’s portrayal of Prince Kit in the Cinderella 2015 cast was a breath of fresh air, as he brought a sense of vulnerability and authenticity to the role. Unlike the traditional depiction of princes as one-dimensional figures, Madden’s Prince Kit was relatable and human, with flaws and insecurities that made him more relatable to audiences. His chemistry with Lily James was undeniable, creating a love story that felt genuine and heartfelt.
Madden’s performance was praised for its sincerity and depth, as he explored the character’s journey of self-discovery and growth. He portrayed Prince Kit as a man searching for love and connection, rather than just a prince seeking a bride. This added layer of complexity made his character more compelling and engaging, ensuring that audiences rooted for him throughout the film.
