Quam Dosunmu and Jamarra Dosunmu gave birth to Ayo on January 17, 2000, in Chicago, Illinois. Quam and Jamarra are originally from Nigeria.

They are Nigerian but migrated to the United States in search of better opportunities.

Jammarra is a hairdresser. She and her family of 10 have never missed any of Ayo’s games.

The family of 10 consists of Quam, Jamarra, their four children, Quam’s brother, sister-in-law, and Jamarra’s sister and brother-in-law. These 10 person makes up the family circle.

Quam once said, “We’ve been going to every game since he started playing when he was 3”. They went to small fry games, to every AAU game, and every high school game.

“We are very close,” she says. “We do everything together.” The family of 10 attends every Illinois game, both home and away.
