The character Hwang from It’s Always Sunny is played by Shelly Desai. He has appeared in four seasons since the show began in 2005. He was seen in seasons one, nine, eleven, and fourteen.

His character does not require much screen time as he plays a minor role. However, his acting is something that can leave a long-lasting impact. In different seasons, he was portrayed in various ways.

In season one, he had a gun fever. He was afraid of Charlie, who had a gun in his pocket when Hwang asked for the rent. Upon seeing the weapon, he gave more time to Charlie to pay his rent.

Likewise, in season 2, the episode named The Gang Squashes Their Beef, Hwang asked Frank to pay the rent if he wished the heating system to be repaired. However, Frank asks to pay for rent after the heating gets fixed.

To solve the feud between them, the gang invited Hwang over on thanksgiving day. Though they had already bonded, later Frank squandered it by refusing to pay and throwing burning money on Hwang’s face.

In season eleven, Hwang and Frank raised the same issue but because of plumbing. Similarly, in season fourteen, he appears on the list of people with a problem with Frank.

Nevertheless, viewers wish to see him this season as well. However, all the episodes are not ended yet.
